Over 80pc of SME companies hold halal certificates, minister tells Parliament

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 18 — Over 80 per cent or 7,306 small and medium enterprises (SMEs) are holders of Malaysia’s Halal Verification Certificate at the moment, Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Religious Affairs) Datuk Mohd Na’im Mokhtar said.
